Warrington Disability Partnership (WDP) is an independent, user led organisation that provides Information and Advice on a variety of topics and delivers services to disabled people, their families, carers and organisations working with disabled people. Warrington Ethnic Society supports culturally diverse communities (black, minority and ethic) to promote community cohesion in Warrington. The project increases engagement, participation and the voice of culturally diverse older communities to better improve lives, services, policies and opportunities. The Cheshire Community Foundation grant is to be spent on a range of promotional materials and stationary to deliver this activity.
Warrington Ethnic Society Over 50’s support older people from BME communities. They wanted to involve more people in their activities. The Cheshire Community Foundation grant enabled the group to pay for some of their room hire costs, with a view to involving more people over 50 in their activities and becoming more sustainable as a group.
Warrington Pensioners are a group who provide social activities for pensioners experiencing isolation. They identified a need to reprint their leaflets to attract more members and take their members on a lunch trip to Blackpool. The Cheshire Community Foundation grant funding allowed, 70 older people to attend.
Warrington Photographic Society’s overall aim and objective is to encourage development of its members skills and interest in producing, developing and manipulating images of all genres.

We are a unit of the Sea Cadet Corps and we provide training and activities based on the traditions of the Royal Navy. We are not a pre-service recruiting group but strive to produce well balanced young people who are the citizens of the future. Our group is open to young people aged 10 – 18 and we pride ourselves on being fully inclusive. Warrington Voluntary Action supports the development of a vibrant, thriving and sustainable third sector to meet the diverse needs of local communities.
A Cheshire Community Foundation grant has facilitated the creation and ongoing support of the WAYV (Warrington Youth Volunteering) programme, providing a variety of different volunteering opportunities, events and training sessions specifically for young people, which does not currently exist. The Wolves Foundation are a registered charity affiliated to the Warrington Wolves Rugby League Football Club delivering a range of charitable activities within the communities of Warrington.

Established in 1952, the Youth Club is the largest voluntary sector Youth Club in Warrington, providing services that meet the needs of a wide range of groups, helping and empowering young people to make positive changes for themselves and their communities.
