Melanie is an accomplished senior leader with a successful track record in growing organisations, having secured funding and new business exceeding £50 million in her most recent roles. As the Owner Director of InspirED Associates, Melanie established and developed a consultancy business, achieving remarkable success and rapid growth. Her expertise includes management and support, strategic planning, fundraising, and business development. Melanie is currently a Trustee and Chair of City Learning Trust, where the team has recently secured a multi-million-pound donation for a Character and Arts Foundation, showcasing her commitment to community enrichment. Melanie’s dedication to charity work is evident in her twelve-year role as Chair of Biddulph Youth and Community Zone, where she led fundraising efforts and community development initiatives. Born and residing in Cheshire, Melanie understands the diverse demographic of the county and is passionate about making a positive impact in local communities. Melanie’s career trajectory reflects a successful transition from the private sector to contribute her skills to organisations with a clear social purpose.
