Cheshire Community Foundation is a funder with added value for charities, an ESG partner for businesses, a trusted advisor for donors.
There are community foundations all over the UK and beyond. We are your local foundation for Cheshire East, Cheshire West, and Warrington, enabling these communities to thrive sustainably. We direct local giving to groups doing local good.
We are local – we understand the specific landscape of our community, and the challenges that residents face.
We are cost-effective, ensuring every penny donated addresses priority needs and adding value through our local knowledge.
We collaborate with a whole range of other stakeholders to identify and fund solutions to local problems.

What We Do
Experts in local giving for local good
Cheshire Community Foundation uses local donations to fund projects which help build a Cheshire and Warrington where everyone can thrive. Our grants programmes target specific community needs, make strategic interventions for broader impact, and address urgent challenges like the cost-of-living crisis. With over £14 million in grants distributed since 2012, our commitment to the community is evident in every project and partnership.
Since 2012, CCF has awarded over £14 million in grants to Community groups and organisations all over Cheshire and Warrington.
We offer expert advice and support to a range of donors, helping people and organisations to invest in local communities where funding is most needed and where it will have the most impact.
Our in depth understanding of the local area, the priority needs and how best to address them, means we are able to assist our donors to fund causes that they are not only passionate about but that will make the most difference.
Our aim is to tackle poverty and disadvantage, helping to build stronger, fairer, happier and more resilient communities across Cheshire and Warrington.
