A new programme to support projects which improve or increase access to local greenspaces or wildlife sites; and at the same time make a difference for individuals and local communities.
This programme focuses on the power of local, grassroots projects working on these themes across Cheshire and Warrington.
- Help to make high-quality green space available to everyone
- Create opportunities to take part in outdoor activities
- Maintain and improve our natural environment/habitats
- Improved health and wellbeing
- Skills and employability
- Stronger more inclusive communities
Branching Out
Grants to up to £10,000 for organisations with an established track record in this type of work, and which are keen to further develop what they do.
Planting Seeds
Grants up to £2,500 for community projects which help to look after, improve or increase access to local greenspaces, and which involve local people.
Projects can last up to 12 months.
We welcome applications from across Cheshire and Warrington but for Planting Seeds priority will be given to projects which are within 7 miles of Elton.
For projects with a capital element we may be able to offer a little flexibility on the size of grant request – please contact us to discuss before you apply.
The Green Shoots programme is supported by funds from Encirc.
