Grant Making Priorities and Principles

CCF’s Covid-19 Response Fund aims to support charities who are providing a service to vulnerable and disadvantaged members of our community across Cheshire and Warrington during the current crisis.

This fund is supported by the National Emergency Trust, Department of Culture Media and Sport, Steve Morgan Foundation and many other Cheshire Community Foundation Donors.

N.B. Whilst the programme is currently still open, some of the grants funds as part of this programme must be spent by ideally by 31/3/2021 with other funds available for projects up to July 2021 .If in doubt, please get in touch.
We will endeavour to assess applications weekly and take these to to the next available grants panel for decision making

Who Can Apply
Both charities and social enterprises/CIC’s can apply (if there are a minimum of 3 unrelated directors and an asset lock on dissolution).

Regional or national organisations working in Cheshire are unlikely to be eligible – as the income threshold is £500,000.

Grant size
Grants of between £500 and £2,000 are available over one year.
