Cheshire Community Foundation are delighted to announce three new grant programmes for Warrington. This programme will be delivered in partnership with Warrington Voluntary Action and with the support of the Steve Morgan Foundation.

Please note: The Project and Strategic Grant Programmes are currently closed for new applications. We are accepting applications for the Microgrants programme via Warrington Voluntary Action’s website.

We want to invest in projects which will
  • Reduce loneliness and improve wellbeing for the people of Warrington.
  • Raise self-confidence for the people of Warrington
  • Improve the capacity and/or sustainability of projects which work in these areas
What can organisations apply for?
There are three programmes available.
  • Microgrants (Up to £1,000), delivered in partnership with Warrington Voluntary Action, to provide grants for community lead projects.
  • Project Grants (Up to £15,000) will deliver grants for up to two years. To help develop previous work or explore different ways of working in Warrington. We will prioritise projects which help to build the capacity and sustainability of the organisation.
  • Strategic Funding Grants (Up to £30,000) will deliver grants for up to three years. This programme will run once a year, funding established organisations working with disadvantaged people in Warrington.

Timeline and how to apply 

For Microgrants – OPEN:
All applications should be made via Warrington Voluntary Action’s website. Microgrants are currently open for applications.

For Project or Strategic Funding Grants – CLOSED FOR APPLICATIONS:
The Project and Strategic Grant Programmes are currently closed for new applications. Please check back later in the year for information on the next rounds.
