Cheshire Community Foundation are delighted to offer a Microgrants programme for organisations working in Warrington. This programme will be delivered in partnership with Warrington Voluntary Action.
The Microgrants programme will provide grants of up to £1,000 (typically £500) for community-led projects. This programme will prioritise new or grassroots organisations working directly with people in communities in which they are based, and have a good understanding of. This could be either through existing work or by piloting new approaches.
The Microgrants programme is part of our Warrington Fund, which also offers Strategic and Project grants in Warrington, up to £30,000. These larger grants are currently closed for applications, but may open again in future. Please check back for more details.
- Reduce loneliness and improve wellbeing for the people of Warrington.

- Improve the capacity and/or sustainability of projects which work in these areas
Based on community feedback, we are also keen to hear from projects which:
- Work with refugee and migrant communities.
