Four Remarkable Charity Projects Honoured at Cheshire Community Foundation’s 2025 President’s Awards

Combermere Abbey hosts an afternoon of celebration as four grassroots initiatives from across Cheshire and Warrington are recognised for their outstanding community impact.

Four exceptional local charities have been celebrated for their life-changing work at the 2025 President’s Awards, hosted by Cheshire Community Foundation on Tuesday afternoon at Combermere Abbey. The annual awards shine a light on inspirational projects funded by the foundation and making a lasting difference across Cheshire and Warrington.

The winning charities Hope4More CIC, Healthbox CIC, Radiate Arts CIC and Hope Church Crewe were recognised for their compassionate, creative and community-led approaches to addressing local needs.

Held in the historic setting of Combermere Abbey, home of trustee Sarah Callander Beckett, the lunch brought together donors, trustees, local businesses, community leaders and charity partners. The event was led by the foundation’s President, Lady Redmond MBE LL, who reflected on the power of local giving.

These projects represent the heart and soul of our communities. They remind us that grassroots action can transform lives. Today we celebrate not just what these organisations have achieved but the hope and resilience they inspire.
