In the heart of Lymm, Cuppello’s Coffee & Juice has quickly become a local gem—serving specialty coffee, fresh bagels, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. Behind the counter is Harry Sheridan, a hospitality veteran with a deep-rooted passion for great coffee and community connection.
Within just 18 months of launching, Harry’s business had recouped its £32,000 startup investment and earned a reputation as the town’s go-to spot for quality, culture, and caffeine. But with demand growing, Cuppello’s faced a new challenge: keeping up with the pace of service during busy hours.
In 2024, Harry secured a £2,000 grant from the SWEF Enterprise Fund, administered by Cheshire Community Foundation. With it, he purchased a La Marzocco Linea PB—a world-class espresso machine known for its speed, consistency, and precision.
The result? Faster service, smoother operations, and an even better experience for Cuppello’s loyal customer base—from dog walkers and remote workers to retired regulars. The upgrade has elevated not only workflow but also brand prestige, cementing Cuppello’s place as a leader in Lymm’s specialty coffee scene.
With an ever-buzzing shop floor and a thriving Instagram following @cuppellos_coffeeandjuice, the future looks bright. Harry is now eyeing further expansion—both in offerings and possibly new locations—while staying firmly rooted in the community. Reflecting on the support from SWEF, Harry shared:
