Mirela, the founder of Alder Ease Cosmetics in Cheshire, is redefining beauty care—combining passion, skill, and continuous learning to deliver high-quality, client-focused aesthetic treatments.
In 2024, she took a major step forward in her professional journey, thanks to a £2,000 grant from the SWEF Enterprise Fund, administered by Cheshire Community Foundation. The grant enabled Mirela to enrol in the VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies—a specialist course focused on anatomy, physiology, and advanced treatment techniques.
Armed with new scientific knowledge and innovative techniques, Mirela quickly began applying what she learned—bringing noticeable improvements to her treatments and receiving positive feedback from clients. The experience has boosted her confidence and strengthened the trust her clients place in her services.
Looking ahead, Mirela is now preparing to move into more advanced and specialised areas of aesthetic therapy, continuing to grow her business while raising the standard of care in her local community.
Mirela also praised the SWEF programme for its supportive structure and accessibility:
Her story is a powerful reminder of how targeted support can unlock opportunities for professional development and business growth—empowering small business owners to thrive and better serve their communities.
